The Chewey Story

Why Is a School Named After a Dog?

Because every great project starts with a story. And ours started with a small Shih Tzu named Chewey.

Before there was a website, robotics curriculum, AI learning pathway, or business plan, there was a dog who refused to leave our side while we built.

Chewey spent countless hours beside our desks as lesson plans were drafted, ideas were tested, and dreams slowly became reality.

He had no idea what robotics was. He certainly did not understand artificial intelligence. But he reminded us of something important every single day: the best learners are curious.

Chewey approaches the world with wonder. Every sound is worth investigating. Every new object is worth exploring. Every unfamiliar experience is an opportunity to learn.

Those same qualities sit at the heart of Chewey School. We want children to ask questions. We want parents to feel comfortable learning new technology. We want families to explore robotics, AI, creativity, and problem-solving together.

The school was never really named after a dog. It was named after what he represents: curiosity, persistence, joy in learning, and the belief that the future should feel exciting, not intimidating.

Today, Chewey remains our inspiration, our mascot, and our reminder that learning begins with a simple question: What happens if I try?

What We Believe

Technology learning should begin with confidence.

Chewey School is built around simple beliefs that guide how we teach, communicate, and support families.

Curiosity comes first.

Children learn best by building.

Parents deserve to understand AI too.

Technology should feel approachable.

AI should empower people, not replace them.

Families can prepare for the future together.
